MUNICIPAL POOL NEWSLETTER
The City of Cote Saint-Luc and the Parkhaven Pool Staff welcome you, the Patrons, and look forward to the continuation of what has been a great season so far.
CLUB ENVIRONMENT
In our effort to provide a club environment many improvements and additions have been made. Your City Council has created an official Pool Committee who meet regularly to insure the best possible use of our facility and the highest level of service. Your co-operation and respect for our staff and the rules, which insure your safety and the general welfare of our community, best reward our efforts.
Our grounds have been extended by moving back the fences and we now have additional green space and shade to enjoy. A new and much larger awning has been installed over the canteen area providing much needed shade.
Our pool is one of the few city pools that is of a 50 meter Olympic size with 3 diving boards including a 3-meter board.
We have ordered lane ropes to allow us more flexibility during adult and free swim, so that those who wish to do laps and those who wish to play can do so often at the same time.
We are building a special games area where toddlers can roam freely with their parents during off-hours and where we plan to have games for children of all ages during the 4.30p.m. Adult swim on weekends.
We have scheduled our Fun Weekend for August 14th and 15th where we will have an inflatable slide, floaties accepted all weekend, pie throwing contest, races, contests, games and prices and much more.
Our guards are also available for birthday parties and of course private swimming lessons when they are not on duty.
SWIMMING AND SAFETY
Teaching swimming and safety has always been our main priority. This summer we are providing lessons 5 days a week for both residents and camp children. We offer stroke improvement, terrified of water and aqua fitness for adults.
BEST WISHES FOR AN ENYOYABLE SUMMER.
