Herbert
Brownstein, senior partner was admitted to practise law in Quebec in 1984.
He received his Bachelor of Arts (Hons. Political Science), Bachelor of Civil
Law and Bachelor of Common Law from McGill University. A significant portion of
Mr. Brownstein’s practise is devoted to advice on international business
immigration law, corporate work permits and litigious matters. He is
responsible for overseeing the direction of our offices worldwide. He is known
as an expert in the field serving since 2003 both as the Vice Chair of the
Canadian Bar Association (Quebec) Immigration Section and as a member of the
Executive of the CBA National Citizenship and Immigration Section. Mr.
Brownstein is also active in community affairs and in November 2005 was elected
City Councillor for Ville de Dollard des Ormeaux. Previously he served as
President of B’nai Brith’s largest chapter, Mount Royal lodge. On an
international level, Mr. Brownstein has been invited to appear as a guest
speaker on numerous occasions at the International Bar Association conferences,
APEC, and at foreign chambers of commerce and business associations. In 1999 he
was inducted into the International WHO’S WHO of PROFESSIONALS. Herbert
Brownstein was also founding lawyer of the Project Genesis legal clinic. He has
also provided advice to clients of Head and Hands legal clinic (in immigration,
divorce and family matters) and to Arnold Bennett’s’ Landlord-Tenant
Association. Mr. Brownstein is a member of the Canadian Bar Association,
International Bar Association, and Quebec Immigration Lawyers Association and is
licensed to practise law by the Barreau du Quebec.
Mitchell
Brownstein, managing partner was admitted to practise in Quebec in 1988. He received his Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Civil Law and Bachelor of Common Law from McGill University in Montreal. He also attended Université de Montréal as a visiting law student for one year. A significant portion of Mr. Brownstein's practise is devoted to advice on United States and Canadian Immigration, Citizenship matters and Business Law. Mr. Brownstein is a
City Councillor for the City of Cote St. Luc first elected in 1990. He is also actively involved in fundraising for charitable organisations and has received the Linda Barker Memorial Award for outstanding campaign worker at Federation C.J.A. He has also been actively involved in supporting the multicultural communities in Montreal and in Federal politics as President of the Young Liberals of Canada for the riding of Mount Royal. Mr. Brownstein has given seminars on immigrating to Canada in many countries around the world.
Mitchell Brownstein was selected as a Young Entrepreneur delegate on the TEAM CANDA MISSION to the PHILIPPINES in January of 1997. In May of 1997 he was invited by the Canadian Chamber of Commerce to provide a seminar on "Legal Issues Surrounding Access to Asia Pacific Markets at the APEC Exhibition and Seminars. In 1997 he was inducted into the
INTERNATIONAL WHO'S WHO OF PROFESSIONALS. Mr. Brownstein, participated in January 1998 on TEAM CANADA, to Latin America, led by the Right Honorable Prime Minister of Canada, Jean Chretien. In September 1998, Mr. Brownstein was a speaker at the Entrepreneur Mondial conference in Ottawa, Ontaria. In November 1998, he was a participant on the Canada, China, Business Council's 20th Anniversary Assembly in Beijing, China in the presence of Canada's Prime Minister Jean Chretein and the Premier of China, Zhu Rongji. In June1999 he was a speaker at the International Bar Association Conference of Lawyers from around the world in Boston, U.S.A. Mr. Brownstein is a member of the Lord Reading Law Society, The American Immigration Lawyers Association, and is licensed to practise law by the Barreau du Quebec.
Eric
Freedman, was admitted to practise in Quebec in 1991. He is also a member of the Florida Bar since 1990. He received his Bachelor of Arts from McGill University, Bachelor of Common Law from University of Miami School of Law and Bachelor of Civil Law From the University of Ottawa. Mr. Freedman's practise is devoted primarily to litigation, Commercial matters and United States Immigration and Business Law. Mr. Freedman volunteers at the Head and Hands Legal Clinic and the West Island Tenant's Information Legal Clinic at the C.L.S.C. in Pierrefonds. Mr. Freedman is licensed to practise by the Florida Bar and the Barreau du Quebec.

Severine Parnaudau was born in Rennes, France. In 2002 she obtained a Master’s
degree in International Law from the University of Nic-Sophia-Antipolis in
France. She has worked in France and Australia before joining Brownstein,
Brownstein at our head office in October 2006. Her pervious work experience,
education and language skills enable her to work as a para-legal on files for
Brownstein clients from many countries worldwide.

Lee,is a partner in Brownstein, Brownstein Capital, our Chinese investment company and Chief representative of the China office. In 1976 he graduated from the Foreign Language University in Beijing, China. In 1987 he undertook a diploma at Concordia University in Montreal Canada. He has been active in international investment and Immigration to Canada from China as the Vice General Manager of Windsor Capital since 1988. The joint venture between Brownstein and Robert Lee has been very productive and together we have brought many Chinese to Canada since 1996.
Ms. Haiying Shi has a Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of
Greenwich in the United Kingdom. She has been employed as the branch Office
Administrative Officer of Edward Jones Investment in Vancouver since 1997. She
has been the Project Manager of Brownstein's Vancouver Chinese office since
October 2007
Linda Wang , is a partner in Brownstein, Brownstein Capital, our Chinese investment company and she heads our Chinese division in Vancouver, Canada. In 1976, she graduated from Beijing Teaching University, China, with a major in Foreign language. Linda immigrated to Canada in 1986 and has become an active member of the Canada China Business Council.

Shengjie Li (Beijing Office Manager), is responsible for our office in Beijing China. Mr. Li, studied at Shanzi Finance & Commerce Institue, China and received a Bachelor's Degree in Economics 1n 1988. From 1988 until 1990 he worked at the Lianda Co. Ltd. Shenzheng as an accountant. He also obtained a Bachelor's Degree in History at the Chinese Art University during this period. From October 1990 until October 1994 he was theDepartment Manager of the Lianda Co Ltd. in Shensheng. From October 1994 until September 1998 he was the Department Manager of the China Overseas Travel Agency, Liaonin Branch and a Chief representative of Windsor Capital Investment Company, in Canada. Jie Ke, Paralegal heads our Middle Eastern/European and Chinese departments. She is a graduate of O'Sullivan College, and is responsible for legal research, drafting legal procedures, processing all kinds of immigration files and assisting all legal staff.
