Follow Cote St. Luc's lead, unity groups tell cities

...Before the meeting, the eight city councillors and Cote St. Luc Mayor Bernard Lang met to discuss the resolution.  Councillor Mitchell Brownstein, one of the leading proponents of the resolution, said he asked his colleagues what it would take to get a unanimous vote from them.

Lang and the councillors said they hoped the federal government would intervene in the event of another provincial sovereignty referendum and hold a nationwide referendum of their own....
