Côte Saint-Luc City Council has recognized Edgewood Greenhouses Ltd., which is celebrating 50 years of service on Hudson Road in Côte Saint-Luc. A special plaque was presented to members of the Van Egmond family before the last city council meeting. Council has expressed its appreciation to this family operation for successfully running a business on a residential street that has not only served Côte Saint-Lucers well, but has attracted customers from across the island. Edgewood is steeped in Côte Saint-Luc heritage, offering a warm personal touch and excellent customer service. Over the years, Edgewood has specialized in bouquets of fresh-cut flowers, arrangements of fresh flowers in baskets or vases, arrangements of exotic flowers, table centrepieces and planter baskets. Their selections have been a part of many people¹s lives, whether it is for Bar Mitzvahs, Valentine¹s Day, weddings, anniversaries, holidays and even sad occasions. A commemorative plaque was presented to the owners at the March 20 council meeting in honour and recognition of their contribution to helping our community flourish.
