Dear Mr. Brownstein:

On behalf of the Team Canada 1997 Task Force of the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, I would like to welcome you as a business participant on the Team Canada 1997 mission to Korea, the Philippines and Thailand, January 9 to 20, 1997.

This letter confirms that you are registered as a business delegate on the Team Canada 1997 mission and will participate in the business program(s) in Manila. Fees of $950 per country have been received in respect of your participation.

If you are participating in the program in Korea, there is a possibility that an optional outing will be organized on Saturday, January 10, 1997 in the afternoon, to Panmunjon, the demilitarized zone between North and South Korea. As the number of people who can take part in this tour is limited, business delegates interested in participating will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Please advise the Team Canada 1997 Task Force of your interest in visiting this unique site by fax at (613) 996-3406.

Attached you will find a list of enclosures to assist you in preparing for this mission, as well as details of the travel arrangements that we have made on your behalf. We look forward to your participation in Team Canada 1997 and thank you for your careful review of the attached information.

Yours sincerely,

G.E. Rishchynski
Director
Team Canada 1997 Task Force
